Ogden Nature Center's Winter Photo Contest WINNERS
OGDEN AREA PHOTOGRAPHERS WIN NATURE CENTER'S FIRST WINTER PHOTO CONTEST
Area photographers braved cold and snow to focus on nature in the Ogden Nature Center's first Winter Photo Contest. Participants from age 8 to adult submitted entries in each of in two categories - general nature center shots and photos of the center's resident animals. All photos were taken during the month of January.
Ogden photographers Steve Conlin and Larry Carr joined Stefanie Miller, Ogden Nature Center Education Director, in choosing the winners from 48 entries in two age groups. The winners were announced at a reception at the nature center on Saturday, Feb. 4. The Imaging Depot, of Ogden, and Wild Bird Center of Layton donated prizes for the winners. All of the entries will remain on display through February in the nature center's L.S. Peery Education Building.
