REVIEW: Monster Jam 2013

Tonight we went to Advance Motor Parts Monster Jam at the Energy Solutions Arena, and had a blast! We decided it was the best monster truck show yet!
Some of our favorites were Grave Digger (of course) and Monster Mutt. Monster Mutt was driven by a girl, which was a ton of fun to watch! She did a fabulous job! We loved watching them jump over the smashed cars and giant hills.
It was fun to see how the drivers of the trucks interacted with the crowd. They installed ladders from the arena to the stands so that the drivers could get out and mingle with their fans. Every time Grave Digger won, he would go into the crowd, ask for the biggest Grave Digger fan, and choose a fan to GIVE his trophy to! The Mohawk guy gave the shirt off of his back to a huge fan holding a mowhawk sign, and the Monster Mutt girl gave the bow in her hair to a fan in the crowd.

Watching the motorcyle tricks were breathtaking!

In between the monster trucks were dirt bike races and OHV races. We loved cheering for the Utah team in the OHV races, and loved seeing the tricks from the dirt bike motorcycles. Each rider got trickier and trickier!
There are still two more chances to catch Monster Jam: tomorrow, Saturday February 16th, at 2pm and 7pm.
