HGTV Dream Home Tour Benefits The Make A Wish Foundation

Information from the Make A Wish Foundation website:

During the month of February, the 16th annual HGTV Dream Home will be open for public tour. Tours take place on Thursdays and Fridays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During tours, guests are invited to explore the home’s three bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, the dedicated game room and the gourmet chef’s kitchen, designed for entertaining.

Ticket price for admission to the tour is $15 per person. Guests are asked to reserve a tour time online when purchasing tickets. More information is available at dreamhome.kintera.org. To learn more about the HGTV Dream Home 2012, visit hgtv.com/dreamhome

Net proceeds from the sale of tour tickets will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah, an organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. With the help of generous donors and volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah granted 151 wishes in 2011. Located in its facility in Murray, A Wishing Place offers a quality wish experience that includes a magical wish-making ceremony in the Wishing Tower, special wish tokens to throw in a wish fountain and plenty of room for wish-granting celebrations.

A special thanks to Summer Jowett for letting us know about this great event!
