Indie Ogden announces the third annual Indie Ogden Awards to recognize locally owned businesses in Ogden, Utah. The award ceremony takes place December 18, 2014 at Hub 801. Voting has open and continues until December 8th.
“The Indie Ogden Awards is our way of saying thank you! to Ogden,” said Mikaela Platter, founder of Indie Ogden. There are so many amazing businesses, people and events in Ogden that deserve to be recognized for their hard work and contributions to the community. We want to showcase all there is to love about Ogden, and show the entire state just how awesome Ogden really is.”
Last year there were over 300 people in attendance and counting vendors, almost 400. “We sold out the first and second year before the event started. Most of our sales were at the door. Unfortunately, we had to turn people away (so be sure to get your tickets in advance). It’s exciting to see the line out the door and around the corner! It will be even bigger this year,” said Platter.

On event day, I had a complimentary event planner, who was helpful in getting my husband and myself champagne, and she also made sure that we were eating.
