BYU’s Museum of Peoples and Cultures (MPC) invites couples to be part of the murder mystery dinner of the year. This date night consists of an evening at the Museum where couples will not only be involved in the solving of a crime, but possibly be guilty of committing one. Couples are welcomed to join us on Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. to uncover this mystery.
As couples purchase their tickets, they will receive character “identities”—which include their names, character traits, and costume suggestions. Upon arrival at the MPC, participants will receive a brief tour of the crime scene before sitting down for dinner. Throughout dinner, the story unfolds and clues are revealed in order to help participants solve the mystery. Each person is given a “manual” to help guide them through the mystery-solving.
“The best thing about this date night is seeing the couples really take on their roles,” said Lindsey Fields, MPC education assistant, “making for lively discussion and an evening where couples can get quite animated.”
The date night costs $24 per couple (includes dinner and dessert) and tickets will be available at the WSC information desk beginning Monday, November 4th.
