Monday February 14th

- Take a break from all the love, come participate in some anti-valentine's activites and watch Gremlins! In this movie, called the 'funniest scary movie you'll ever see', an unusual present called a "mogwai" is given to Billy by his dad with three basic rules for caring for the pet: never get him wet, keep him out of bright light, and never feed him after midnight. When Billy inadvertently breaks one of the rules, the consequences multiply at an alarming rate that builds to an explosively suspenseful climax. Tuesday February 15th
- Adults. Learn about raising backyard chickens with expert, Celia Bell. She will cover a variety of topics related to raising chickens including: preparing for backyard chickens, breed selection, housing, food, and water, basic chicken care, chickens and your garden, hazards and health management, collecting and storing eggs, and legalities and your neighborhood. Wednesday February 16th

BYU microbiology professor Laura Bridgewater has been studying, with some assistance from Nobel Laureate Mario Cappechi, how a specific protein affects muscle and neurological functions. - FREE Tax Preparation West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution Boulevard and will be open on TUESDAY and THURSDAY nights from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm starting February 1 to April 15. Free tax preparation is available to households with incomes below $49,000.
- Traveling Treasures Experience Utah's Natural History with an exhibit of artifacts.
- Peteetneet Annual Woodcarvers' Exhibit The Wood Carvers' Exhibit is a yearly exhibit, but new pieces are on display each year along with many old favorites. Don't miss out on seeing these beautiful pieces carved in such unique ways.
