We attended opening night of “Circus Extreme” at Energy Solutions Arena, and was blown away! We’ve been to other Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus performances before, and this was by far our favorite! When you arrive, make sure to put on the bracelet they give you to wear during the show. It will light up during certain parts of the show. This was one of our favorite additions that we haven’t seen at other circus acts, and absolutely loved it!
I was on the edge of my seating watching Benny Ibarra on The Pendulum of Steel. I have to admit that I definitely gasped a few times, and maybe even closed my eyes during some parts. It was definitely intense!
One of my favorite parts of the show that will become a beloved memory that we will talk about for a long time to come is hearing my 11 year old daughter giggle uncontrollably during the Alex and Irina “Dogs of The City” act. We/she adores poodles, and couldn’t help but smile and laugh at how much fun the poodles were having running around and doing tricks. You can watch a short video on our Instagram profile. We took a few notes and may even attempt to teach our 10 year old poodle “Kisses” a few of them.
My 9 year old son and his friend were on the edge of their seats during the finale of Freestyle Sports. The BMX bike tricks had them cheering and excited like no other part of the show. My son is still talking about it two days later! My husband is a fan of trampolines, and loved watching the acrobats and tricks by the trampoline act.
