The BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures (MPC) is pleased to announce a return to our free and educational program: Spring Break Make and Take!
“This opportunity provides a fun environment for kids to learn,” said Michelle Israel, General Manager of the museum. “Spring Break shouldn’t be a time to waste valuable learning opportunities.”
Come spend spring break with us at the museum. Each morning has a different theme with games, activities and crafts to make and take home. The events will take place in an open house style and will be April 8th, 9th, & 10th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The themes for each day include: Tuesday--Birthdays around the World, Wednesday--Become an Archaeologist, and Thursday--Nuchu: Voices of the Ute People.
The MPC hosts events to serve the academic mission of BYU and care for anthropological, archaeological, and ethnographic collections in the custody of the University. Educating visitors through thrilling events allows the MPC to branch out in creative ways that benefit the BYU community.
For more information, visit facebook.com/byu.mpc or mpc.byu.edu. The MPC is located at 100 E. 700 N. in Provo, Utah.
