Utah Wilderness 50 Photo Contest Open For Entries

 UW50_logo

The Natural History Museum of Utah invites photographers of all levels to enter the Utah Wilderness 50 photo contest. In this worldwide call for entries we seek your best photographs of Utah wilderness. Fifty compelling photographs will be selected for exhibition at the Museum through this juried competition.

With President Lyndon Johnson’s signature in 1964, the Wilderness Act preserved more than nine million acres of wild lands as open space for generations to come. Nearly 100 million more acres have been protected in the subsequent five decades. Utah Wilderness 50: A Photographic Celebration of Wild Utah commemorates the 50 year anniversary of this remarkable legislation.

All entries must represent Utah public lands and reflect the spirit of the Wilderness Act of 1964.
