FREE Microsoft Store Workshops: DIY Holiday Crafts and Cards

Who would have thought to use PowerPoint to create a Christmas card?!

Did you know that the Microsoft Store in City Creek Center has FREE workshops that you can attend?! Not only that, but you can schedule your own workshop and invite your friends for free as well!

This last week I attended a DIY Holiday Crafts and Cards workshop. The team at Microsoft taught us how to make our own holiday cards and wrapping paper. We were able to bring a flash drive with pictures on it to create our cards and wrapping paper, and then save our creations on our flash drive to take home with us and print.

I would have never thought to use PowerPoint to create a holiday card, but it was so easy and simple! They also showed us a free program called Fresh Paint to create our own customized wrapping paper. They also introduced us to creating a bracelet with a 3D printer.
