The Ogden Nature Center education staff presents this not-so-scary Halloween event for the whole family. Learn about native, nocturnal creatures like owls and bats. Take a crepuscular creep around the nature preserve where you’ll meet and learn from some “wild” characters. Make fun fall nature crafts, get down low at the spider web crawl, enjoy face painting, carnival games and more.

Putting Your Perennial Gardens To Bed for the Winter Workshop
Taught by Barney Barnett, owner of Willard Bay Gardens

Expert plantsman Barney Barnett will teach you the steps and tricks to putting your gardens to bed for the winter. Learn what perennials to cut back in the fall and which ones to cut back in the spring. Learn when and how to dig, divide and move perennials.
