MIDWAY, UTAH (June 26, 2013) — The Homestead Resort will celebrate Independence Day with an old-fashioned 4th of July party for the entire family on July 4 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Live big-band and swing music by Utah Live Jazz Band will play throughout the night while guests enjoy a delicious barbeque featuring the old fashioned and traditional favorites.

Families also have an opportunity to return to a more nostalgic time with classic American games such as a hula hoop contest, ring toss, potato sack race, three-legged race and tug-of-war.

The party will conclude with firework viewing from on top of The Homestead Crater.

Families can make it a weekend to remember by booking a three-night room package. Details can be found at Homesteadresort.com or by calling 866-957-6288.

Also in July, the Homestead Resort will host an evening of Western entertainment and fun for the July 24th Pioneer Day Celebration. The event will feature cowboy poetry, great western food, wagon rides, music and western activities for the whole family. Learn more at www.Homesteadresort.com.
