Brio Tuscan Grill To Open City Creek Location June 27

Brio
“Lively” restaurant brings authentic, northern Italian food to
downtown Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY— (June 20, 2013) Downtown Salt Lake City will add to its vibrant food community with the opening of BRIO Tuscan Grille on June 27 at City Creek Center. BRIO (meaning “lively” or “full of life”) is an upscale affordable restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian food.

“We are thrilled to join the thriving downtown food scene,” said Bob Boyland, BRIO City Creek general manager. “We hope to become Salt Lake’s downtown family kitchen by offering diverse and upscale affordable culinary options.”

The menu features grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops, fresh fish and made-to-order pastas, similar to authentic Tuscany ‘ristorantes’.

The design of BRIO at City Creek Center is inspired by Tuscan country villa with antique hardwood Cyprus flooring, hand-crafted Italian mosaics and imported Italian marble. The restaurant is 7,341 square feet and seats 198. Guests can also enjoy the summer weather in the restaurant’s wrap-around patio seating.

BRIO will give back to the community during its opening months with “Make a Difference Monday” events in which a portion of food sale proceeds benefitting different community organizations will be donated

The restaurant will feature lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner and is open seven days a week. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

BRIO City Creek is the restaurant’s second location in Utah (BRIO Fashion Place opened in 2011)

The restaurant is owned by Bravo Brio Restaurant Group based in Columbus, Ohio.
