Mormon Media Studies Symposium

The 2012 Mormon Media Studies Symposium will focus on all aspects of Mormons as they are currently represented in media, as well as how they have been represented in the past. 
The Symposium will feature two full days of presentations and discussions by expert scholars and practitioners on key issues relating to Mormons and the media, especially in this "Mormon Moment." 
Newsweek's June 2011 cover story was entitled "THE MORMON MOMENT," referring to the intense, recent media focus on Mormons and Mormonism that has often brought to light the truth about the Church's beliefs, practices, and lives of its members.
