Stand Up And Be Counted
Patriotism, like love is a verb – time to do something.
Breaking News – Heard from Frank Wing, President of APA Talent and Literary Agency, who represents Lee Greenwood – they are aware of this project and are watching closely.
If you have been following our website, www.september11thtribute.weebly.com , you will have noticed the tremendous spirit and energy that is building with this wonderful project – if you haven't looked at it lately, I would encourage you to look at it again, as we have added some wonderful features to the event.
One of the features that we are most excited and proud about is the 'Solar Light Garden' that will represent the 3,497 individuals who lost their lives on that tragic day. This is the only venue that is most costly. What Sandy and I have determined to do, is involve all those who wish to support this special representation of lives lost and sacrifices made, by asking one and all to invest in one light or a hundred.
This Light Garden can easily be achieved as all great hearts get involved. So, we are praying, pleading, down on our knees and begging that individuals, families, organizations, and corporations assist us by investing in this very sacred place. Each Solar Light is $3.00 (Three Dollars). Please, would you think about the great freedoms we enjoy here on this very sacred soil, and commit to one or a hundred lights.
We want to keep all the lights uniform, so we are requesting that you send your check or money order, in whatever name you wish to have on your donation to --- Sandra Foote, P.O. Box 345, Washington, Utah 84780. We will be purchasing the lights from Walmart – they will be laid out to represent the Twin Towers by Burke Staheli. Imagine being there on the evening that they begin to flare, and you hear military Taps. Imagine!! Please say thank you to those who gave all that day, and to those who are still giving, by sending three or more dollars to the tremendous endeavor.
GOD BLESS THE USA!!
Alan and Sandra Foote
