Dino Days In Dixie

February 7th - 12th

Dino Days in Dixie and the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm will celebrate a new dinosaur replica that has just arrived from England and is the only one to be displayed in the Western Hemisphere!

A lecture introducing this new acquisition will be presented at the St. George Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Feb 9th with a Grand Opening of the special display following at 5:00 pm at the Dinosaur Discovery Site museum.

Also for Dino Days, there will be dinosaur books available at the St. George library, the “Paleo Poems and Other Tails” program sponsored by the Redrock Writers and Utah State Poetry Society's Dixie Chapter, as well as games, handouts, and tours at the museum. This year’s finale will be “Dinosaurs,” a new composition, and "Jurassic Park" which will both be performed by the Orchestra of Southern Utah at their Children’s Jubilee on Sat. Feb. 12th in Cedar City.
