Annual Bald Eagle Day

February 5th

This is a wonderful family activity that gives you a chance to view bald eagles in their natural setting. Watch them soar the sky and hunt in the fields. Spotting scopes will be set up. Driving map of Sanpete Valley will be given out, highlighting the best areas to view the eagles. There will be displays, pamphlets; volunteers and biologists will be available to answer questions. Bring Binoculars and cameras, however, a high power telephoto lens is a must if you choose to photograph, so the birds aren’t disturbed. The best times to see the greatest number of eagles is usually from 2 to 4 o’clock. Dress warmly and wear water proof boots. 435-445-3472
