We were strolling around Gardner Village the other day, and discovered that some Woodland Fairies have made their homes there! The main portion of the Woodland Fairies is in the center court area, but there are fairies scattered around the rest of the Village as well.
Rumor has it that they will be packing up their homes and flying away on April 25, so make sure to catch them before they’re gone!
Fairy House Tours
At Georgell Doll Shop, you can take a tour of over 25 fairy houses, including the Queens Tea Room and a Spritely Circus. One of our favorites was the Puppet Fairy Theater.
You can tour the houses every Saturday, now until April 25, and the cost is only $5 per person. Tours are weather permitting; we wouldn’t want the fairies’ houses blowing away!
Woodland Fairy Parade
Join Spoiled Rotten for a fairy parade every Saturday at 1pm. Face painting ($5) will also be available from noon to 2pm. Parades will be held every Saturday now until the fairies fly away on April 25.
Fairy Garden Class
Aunt Elsie’s is holding a fairy garden making class on Saturday, March 28 at 9:30am. Cost is $15 and must be reserved in advance by calling (801) 561-5557.
