LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Performance Audio

As many of you know, my husband and I own a DJ business called Squawkbox Sound. We DJ weddings, parties and other events. We are the DJs for events at Gardner Village, such as Witches Night Out, Midnight Madness Beach Party, and Friday Night Disco Fever at Gardner Village.

We love local companies, and one of those that we find ourselves going back to time and time again is Performance Audio. Not only are they one of the only places around to buy Gaff tape, but their customer service is excellent, and they are always able to answer questions we have when purchasing new equipment, or maintenance on our existing equipment.

The employees at Performance Audio know their stuff. If they don’t have what you want, they will help you find it. One instance is when they had just sold the last of a light set we wanted to a different customer. They called six different stores until they found a store that had it. They also made arrangements and gave directions so we could pick it up. They were willing to sacrifice losing that business to another company just to satisfy the customer and get us what we needed. This is why we repeatedly return to Performance Audio.

Even though we use them for our DJ business needs, they are also a place that the general public can go to for various items. Besides equipment to purchase, you can also rent equipment from them for special events you are organizing.

Because most of our events are weddings and private parties, we don't have as much cable on hand for huge events such as those at Gardner Village. Instead of purchasing more speaker cable, and only using it three times a year, Performance Audio rents us cable for those events at a very reasonable price.

Performance Audio is located at 2456 So. West Temple in Salt Lake City. They also have an Orem location.

Whether you are putting together a kid’s birthday party, need vocals for a band, are looking to rent a full sound system  or just want some lights for New Years, Performance Audio is the place we trust with our business needs and we highly recommend them to you.
