No Waiting In Line For Santa At Scheels! - 2013

We met the most amazing Santa at Scheels last Saturday. He wanders around the store, so there is no line and no fee. You do have to take your own photograph (see mine attached). He was so fantastic with my kids, including my 2-week old baby. Here are the details:

Scheels, 11282 South State Street, Sandy, Utah, 801-948-7080

Santa is walking around the store Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.

While you are there, ride the indoor ferris wheel for $1 per person. Scheels also offers pictures with Santa by appointment for $25, pictures will be emailed to you through Dropbox. It is a different Santa Claus than the one walking around the store.

Dates/Times: Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cost: Depends on photo package
NOTE: Rumor has it that the Sugarhouse Santa Shack will let you take your own photos no charge if you don’t want to order one of their photo packages. (Be sure to check with the Shack for complete details.)

Santa’s Lantern at City Creek
Dates/Times: Now through December 24, Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Cost: Depends on photo package
