REVIEW: OraMD (Natural Toothpaste)

By now, most of us are aware of the harmful ingredients in many of the over-the-counter products, and as a result, many of us have looked to natural products to replace them.

OraMD Natural Toothpaste is one of those natural products that you can turn to for a natural way to clean your teeth and freshen your breath. I was sent a free bottle to try and review. There were quite a few things that I was impressed with:

• The first thing I noticed with this natural toothpaste is the size. I am overly obsessive when it comes to brushing my teeth, and frequently carry a toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse for times when I feel my teeth need an extra brushing. OraMD was just the right size to fit in my purse and take along with me.
• I also noticed how fresh it made my mouth. Because it comes in a liquid form, you can use it for much more than just brushing your teeth. My favorite thing to use it for was a quick breath freshener. I put one drop on my finger and rubbed it on my tongue and across my gums. This provided a quick refresher without having to chew on mints or hurt my jaw chewing gum.
• As mentioned above, there are many uses besides brushing your teeth. I also liked putting a few drops in a cup of water and using it for a mouthwash.
• I get mouth sores and cankers frequently, and I noticed that the number of mouth sores since I have been using it has reduced significantly.

The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it doesn’t foam up like regular toothpaste. This didn’t affect how fresh it made my teeth and breath, and was just a matter of getting used to.
