Many Train fans stood in line overnight to get tickets to their free concert Saturday as part of the Microsoft Store grand opening celebration. The first 200 people in line were given meet and greet passes along with their concert ticket, and the next 1,000 people
were given concert tickets. The tickets were gone in under an hour and a half!

While waiting for the ribbon cutting, Train fan Shannon did a fabulous job singing “Hey Soul Sister”, and was rewarded with a Microsoft Surface tablet.

Kevin Eagan, Vice President, Microsoft Retail Stores eCommerce, presented a $1 million software grant to Junior Achievement of Utah, a $150,000 software grant to YMCA of Northern Utah, a $150,000 software grant to Sorenson Unity Computer Center and a $150,000 software grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah.

Now 97.9 FM was there to hand out prizes and get the crowd excited. All week long leading up to the grand opening they have been giving away concert tickets on their Facebook page.

Once the ribbon had been cut and the doors were opened, energetic Microsoft Store employees greeted customers with smiles and high fives.
