2007 National Medal of Arts
recipient Morten Lauridsen is the most frequently performed American composer
and considered by many to be the dean of American choral music. The Salt Lake
Vocal Artists and newly organized SLCA Youth Choir (ages 15-21) are proud to
present an evening of Lauridsen’s music, interspersed with portions of the
award-winning documentary “Shining Night,” on Friday, January 18 and Saturday,
January 19 at the Waterford School Concert Hall at 7:30 pm. The evening
is sure to satisfy your soul. Tickets for the concert are $15/general and
$10/student. Group rates are available. More information at www.saltlakechoralartists.org.
