Holiday Events at Homestead and Zermatt Resorts

HOMESTEAD AND ZERMATT RESORTS TO HOST INTERFAITH CRECHE EXHIBIT, OTHER ACTIVITIES 14th Annual Interfaith Creche exhibit kicks off the Christmas season this weekend The Homestead and Zermatt Resorts will host a number of activities and events this holiday season. Interfaith Creche Exhibit The Homestead Resort will host the 14th Annual Interfaith Creche Exhibit Friday, Nov. 30, through Monday, Dec. 3. Sponsored by the Midway Boosters, this favorite holiday display is free and offers guests the chance to view hundreds of unique nativities from all across the world. The exhibit, which now draws more than 7,000 visitors each year, can be viewed between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Christmas Day Brunch The new Z’s Steak & Chop Haus, located at the Zermatt Resort, will host a Christmas Day Brunch between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. serving special Christmas dishes. Adult meals are $34.95, kids 6-12 are half price, and children under 5 eat for just $5. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 866-937-6288.  New Year’s Eve Party & Dance The Zermatt Resort will host a New Year’s Eve Party and Dance featuring the sounds of “Manage This!” starting at 8 p.m. in the Matterhorn Ballroom. The 2009 “Battle of the Corporate Bands” finalist band will play ’70s, ’80s and ’90s hits from 9 p.m. to midnight. The evening will include gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, party favors and a midnight balloon drop. Tickets are only $99 per couple, and kids between 5 and 12 will be admitted for just $19.95. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 435-657-0180. In connection with the party, special lodging prices start at $159.
