Neighborhood House To Unveil Urban Gallery V Exhibit

NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE TO UNVEIL URBAN GALLERY V EXHIBIT

Nonprofit to participate in global art project by 2011 TED prize recipient JR 

Neighborhood House, a nonprofit organization providing educational and support services in Salt Lake City, will unveil the Urban Gallery V exhibit on Friday, Sept. 21, as part of the Inside Out project (www.insideoutproject.net), a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. 

The global concept of the Inside Out project is a creation of 2011 TED Prize recipient JR. The local project effort consists of portraits of individuals from Neighborhood House and members of the Salt Lake community that have been digitally uploaded and converted into posters. These will be displayed on Neighborhood House’s garage doors.

The Urban Gallery V project unveiling is free to the public. The unveiling will take place on Sept. 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information, contact 801-363-4589 or visit www.nhutah.org.
