City Library Calling For Entries

The City Library Art Exhibit Call for Entries
Submissions Requested from Local Artists of All Ages

September 17, 2012—Salt Lake City—The City Library provides the opportunity for local artists to share their work with the community.  Exhibits are ongoing, year-round, at all City Library locations. From September 26—October 10, artists have the chance to have their work considered for exhibition.

Providing exhibition opportunities to local artists is of great importance to The City Library, as it facilitates exposing residents to new art forms and ideas, and enriches the community by fostering creativity and inspiring curiosity.

Submissions are accepted twice a year, and exhibitionstypically run for 45 days. Artists are often asked to give a brief presentation about their work with a reception to follow. This is a great opportunity for artists to have their work on display for a large general audience.

Artists can submit either physical or electronic portfolios, and details for submission are available at www.slcpl.org/callforentries.
