International Peace Gardens

From guest blogger Melissa Espittia:

We love to go to the International Peace Gardens located in Salt Lake City on 1060 S and 900 W. It is a great park to be able to get a taste of many cultures and diversities. We love going here because there is alot that can be done at this park. You can walk around and look at all the different cultures. Then you can go just outside the gardens and have your kids play on one of the 3 playgrounds in the park. Or you can walk/jog/run/bike along the path that runs along the Jordan River. You can enjoy a nice picnic with your family. They also have a People's Market on Sundays that run until October where you can buy/sell your produce and goods. Our family really enjoys this park because it is close to our home and there is so much that you can do there. It also has tennis courts, BBQ's, softball area, horse shoe area, a sand volleyball area and restrooms and drinking fountains that work. You can also enjoy the skate park area.
