Community Exploration Card

This is one of the coolest deals I have ever heard of! Thanks to Angela McKinnon for passing this information on to me!

At the beginning of the month, head to any Salt Lake City Library (NOT Salt Lake County, it has to be a Salt Lake City library) and pick up a "Community Exploration Card". This card is COMPLETELY FREE, and will get you in FREE (up to four people) to:
You have to be a resident of Salt Lake, and each person is only allowed one every 6 months.

This card is good all month long. Each location has about 10 cards per month that they give away, and it is definitely first come, first served, so I highly recommend getting yours on the first day of the month, right at opening! (The downtown library told me that they will allow people to call in and reserve theirs instead of coming in, as long as they pick it up that day.)

UPDATE 6/27/2012:
The rules for the cards have changed now. You can only get one card per family every 12 months. You cannot reserve a card anymore, but you now have access to The Leonardo (the Museum of Fine Arts has been dropped).

    These do go fast, so make sure you call ahead and get yours as soon as you can! The downtown library told me that they will allow people to call in and reserve theirs instead of coming in, as long as they pick it up that day.

      Check with the library. This post was written in 2011 and i know that a few guidelines have changed.
