Tour Description
We are very happy to welcome the public to our home during December 2010 for a FREE 30-minute guided tour of some of our Nativities. This collection is special because the Nativities are all handmade and come from countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The 100 sets on display this year will be entirely different from the sets displayed at last year’s tours. Our tour theme for 2010 is the Year of the Angel, so we will display only Nativity sets with angels—in every imaginable material and style!
This is our family’s best effort at celebrating Christ’s birth as it is uniquely portrayed by many cultures—from Argentina to Zimbabwe. We are inviting the community to our home to offer something very different and hopefully more meaningful than the fast-paced commercialism of the holiday season.
All are welcome, including groups and children. However, parents will need to hold very young children during the tour if the toddlers want to run around.
