Clark Planetarium

We used our Salt Lake Connect passes and visited the Clark Planetarium at the Gateway.

Did you know that all of the exhibits are free and there is no admission charge to get in?! The only events that they charge for are the lazer lights shows, and any movie you want to see!

While there, my kids loved walking on the moon, walking on Mars, looking through the telescopes, learning about the different planets, phases of the moon, and everything else there was to see. Below is a video of the interesting and fun things there are to see at the Clark Planetarium.

We saw the U2 lazer light show, and it was fantastic! In one song, they have a flying dolphin. It doesn't get much cooler than that!

While there, we bought some astronaut food. We tried strawberries, ice cream sandwich, and ice cream. I thought the strawberries were yummy, but my kids decided right then and there that they definitely do not want to be an astronaut when they grow up; they do NOT want to eat the food!

The Clark Planetarium is located at the Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City. If you park in the Winter parking across the street, you can walk underground beneath the street, and enter directly into the planetarium without ever having to go outside! This is great for snowy days! CLICK HERE to go to their website for more information.
