ANTELOPE ISLAND
STAMPEDE AND BALLOON FESTIVAL

Fri. Sept. 3rd - starting at 5pm
Sat. Sept. 4th - 7am to 10pm
Sun. Sept 5th - 7am to 9pm

We went to this event last year, and it was a BLAST!

LOCATION: Antelope Island. Take I-15 North (if you are coming from Salt Lake City, Tooele, etc), and head towards Layton. You are going to want to watch for the Antelope Island Drive exit. When you get off the exit, turn Left, which is Westbound. Keep going on that road, and you'll end up on Antelope Island!
COST: There is a charge for cars to go out to Antelope Island. I believe it's $10 per carload. Make sure to have plenty of cash, because they do not take debit/credit cards or checks. The event itself is free, but you are going to want to bring some cash for food, games, souvenirs, etc.

The best chance of seeing balloon flights is early Saturday morning.
