Celebrate the Season With Grand Traditions

In celebration of the most wonderful time of the year, The Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City has transformed into a winter wonderland filled with holiday attractions for the whole family. Festivities began with the unveiling of The Grand America’s Holiday Window Display on November 24. This year, the displays feature “Songs of the Season,” bringing to life 17 carol-inspired windows throughout the hotel in collaboration with local artists, artisans and designers. Additional seasonal traditions will ignite the holiday spirit in guests and locals alike, including  Breakfast With Santa, elaborate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day lunches and dinners, and a life-size gingerbread house hand-crafted by The Grand’s resident pastry chefs.

“The Grand America is one of the most magical places to celebrate the holidays,” said Chris Erickson, manager of The Grand America. “From our towering Christmas tree, to the enchanting window stroll, to festive dining events with Santa himself, The Grand becomes a true winter wonderland to be enjoyed all season long.”

“Shopping is Grand” Package

Guests who book an overnight stay will receive a $50 gift card for use at any of The Grand America shops and restaurants, as well as a $50 gift card for City Creek Center, home to Salt Lake City’s most exciting shopping experience. Need help wrapping? The Grand America is happy to wrap gifts purchased at one of the property’s luxury retailers.

The “Shopping is Grand” package starts at$289/night and includes the following:

· Choice of room or suite

· $50 hotel credit

· $50 City Creek Center gift card

· Complimentary access to The Grand Spa

“Santa at The Grand” Package

Guests who book an overnight stay on November 28, December 12, 19, 21, 22, and 23 will receive a $100 hotel credit, milk and cookie turndown service complete with a Maurice at The Grand book, and preferred seating at breakfast or tea with Santa. This package is available now and bookings are limited.

The “Santa at The Grand” package starts at $304/night and includes the following:
