West Valley City, Utah - Utah’s Trevor Lewis, 2012 Stanley Cup Champion, who played earlier this season for the Grizzlies is a finalist for the 2012 Professional Male Athlete of the Year as part of the Governor’s State of Sport Awards, hosted by the Utah Sports Commission.
Lewis was a member of the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings in June, brought the Cup home to Utah on August 30 and skated in six games with the Utah Grizzlies prior to the end of the NHL lockout.
Lewis scored two goals in the sixth and deciding game of the Stanley Cup Final in June and had three goals and six assists for nine points in six games for the Grizzlies as he appeared in four games at Maverik Center over the holidays.

A total of nine awards will be presented by Utah Governor Gary Herbert on April 16 at 11:30 a.m. at the Zions Bank Basketball Center. Voting will conclude on April 9 at midnight.
Utah returns home for a Wild $2 Wednesday on March 6 when they will host Gwinnett. There will be $2 Hot Dogs, $2 Fries, $2 Soft Drinks, $2 Draft Beers and $5 Student Tickets available to students with ID at the arena box office.
