Brazilian Carnaval in Salt Lake City

BorboletasDJ Erv Master, Samba Fogo Dancers, Parade, Costumes, Contests and good food will make you feel like you in an authentic Brazilian Carnaval.

One of the biggest celebrations around the globe arrives in Salt Lake City this up coming Friday, February 22nd, 2013. For the First time in Utah, the Viva Brazil Cultural Center (organizers of the Utah Brazilian Festival) and Eventos Reception Center bring an authentic Carnaval party full of energy, non-stop music, lots of samba, costumes, contests and beautiful people.

1The rhythm, comes from New York, brought by the organization’s special guest, DJ. Erv. Master will play the latest Brazilian hits.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t dance samba. The local dancing crew will lead you into the most famous choreographies and, with Samba Fogo, and Drummers in the background, you will speed up your heartbeat.

Porta Bandeira e Mestre SalaSponsored by Tucanos Brazilian Grill, contestants with the best costumes and most energy and excitement, will be awarded prizes.

The Artistic Producer Caio Castro, returning to Utah from Atlanta, will be responsible for the interactive Parade, on which anyone wearing a costume can join. Castro’s beautiful costumes will set the glamorous atmosphere for the crowds in the Parade.
