  1. I have put the real reason we celebrate Pioneer day to rhyme. Here it is:

    Pieinear Day

    At a pie eating contest in Utah,
    tempers began to burst,
    when a judge called out the winner,
    another thought he’d finished first.

    Pies were flying all over the place.
    until someone got hit in the ear.
    Now Utah celebrates pie-in-ear day
    on July 24th of each year.
