Research Revolution: The Body's Triggers: Figuring Out Proteins
Proteins are essential to how our bodies grow and develop. BYU microbiology professor Laura Bridgewater has been studying, with some assistance from Nobel Laureate Mario Cappechi, how a specific protein affects muscle and neurological functions. Join Dr. Bridgewater as she explains how proteins work and how scientists create experiments to understand their complex interactions.

Fancy Nancy Party
PGCL invites all girls 4 to 10 years of age to a very special party. Come dressed in your fanciest for this marvelous tea party. This party is free with a valid and current PGCL card but requires a small refundable registration fee of $5.00 to hold your place. The fee will be refunded when you attend or if you cancel before Friday, February 4. You will be given a ticket when you register and you must have that ticket in hand to be admitted to the party. Parents are invited to stay and take pictures, with seating provided around the room.

Make And Take Pop-Up Valentines Card
Free craft projects for children ages 12 and under and their parents or caregivers. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Feb. 7th - 6:30pm Provo City Library
The Annual Valentine’s Ball, held in the Provo City Library’s Ballroom, is a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine's Day. This romantic evening includes dinner catered by Marvelous Catering Company, music by CB Jazz, and a red rose for each lady. Formal dress is preferred; however, Sunday best dress is acceptable. Tickets are twenty-five dollars each, fifty dollars per couple. Ball tickets will be available on Monday, January 31st, and must be purchased by Friday, February 11th at 12:00 noon.

Jumpin Jungle
Feb 3rd. Jumpin Jungle is a class where kids can monkey around! This class will focus on a variety of activities including obstacle courses, large interactive inflatables and each class ends with parachute activities. Come enjoy a fun play center experience with our instructor. Parent participation required. For walking to age 5. We will need a minimum of 8 kids to hold the class. Princess Academy
Feb. 12th 10am. The Princess Academy is for ages 3-10. It will be held in the Eagle Mountain city council chambers. Cost is $10/person. Come dressed in your favorite princess dress. Participants will do two crafts, get their fingernails painted, get a picture with "The Fairy Godmother" and Miss Eagle Mountain, Hartley Lojik and enjoy a royal princess lunch!
