The Salt Lake County Library always has tons of events going on for families of all ages! Below is a description of special events.

Robin Hood and His Merry Men
Ages 6-12. Maid Marian takes you inside Nottingham and the Sherwood Forest. Learn about Robin Hood and how he outsmarted the Sheriff of Nottingham.Make a Robin Hood hat to take home.

GO - Get Organized!

The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Families. Puupet show. The shepherd boy longs for excitement, so he makes some of his own by telling a lie. The sheepdog decides the teach the boy a lesson about telling lies.

Nutrition and Exercise For Children and Adults

Writers' Circle
Teens and Adults. Do you write? Do you wish to write? Are you seeking that 1% of inspiration to motivate you to the other 99% of perspiration? Join the West Jordan Library’s Writers’ Circle for exercises, discussions and information to help you progress in your writing goals.

The Pajama Monster!
Young Glenwood Haggins doesn’t want to give up his beloved onsies for the new, big boy pajamas his mom wants him to wear. But Mom makes him…Big mistake! For little does mom know, these new pajamas will turn him into a MONSTER! Told with a blend of puppets and live acting. This fun tale is safe for kids of all ages and will entertain the littlest of the littles and the biggest of the bigs.

Pajama Time: Lullabies At The Library

Family Movie Night At The Library
Come and enjoy a family-friendly movie for free at the library. Families are welcome to bring pillows and blankets. Outside snacks are okay, but drinks must have lids and snacks must be easily cleaned up.

Greentree Yoga presents a family yoga class. Families are required to register, but everyone is invited to attend.

Princess And The Dragon
A fiery dragon is making trouble in the kingdom, and all the princes turn out to try their hand in the adventure. But it is the spunky princess of the castle who comes up with a very unusual method of getting rid of the pesky beast.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Night
Teens and Adults. Can’t tell a scholarship from a scam, or a grant from a gimmick? Come and learn about the different kinds of financial aid available to help you pay for college, and how to get them from a representative of UHEAA. We will cover the basics of scholarships, grants, work-study programs, student loans, and savings, as well as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This information is applicable to all age groups. We hope to see you there! No registration required

Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes: What You Need To Know
Adults. Does someone you know have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes or cardiovascular disease (heart disease, stroke, or peripheral vascular disease)? Come to this informative talk and learn more about these conditions and how to manage them to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke. No registration required.

Heart Attack and Stroke
Learn the basic facts of cardiovascular disease. The audience will learn how to recognize the common and not-socommon signs and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes and what to do if these occur. Risk factors will also be discussed and you will be given a list of trusted websites for further research.

Read Rover A Story
Come read to a dog! Elliot and Rusty, Intermountain Therapy dogs, will be here to give kids a great, low-stress reading experience. Space is limited so registration is required.

Speed Stacking Club
School-age kids. Join the Speed Stacking craze! Learn how to stack and unstack your cups with dazzling speed. Compete against yourself and others to win prizes. It's fun! It's amazing! It's Speed Stacking!
