As I've said before, there are always a TON of things to do! Get out and enjoy yourself, especially this time of year! The holidays are magical in Utah, especially for families!

West Valley City Tree Lighting and Walk With Santa

Tour the governor's mansion downtown for FREE, all decorated for the holidays!

FREE parking downtown
Get downtown and take advantage of the beauty this time of year, without having to pay for parking! This is the best time to check out the Holiday Windows (see next link).

Holiday Window Winter Wonderland Contest
Get downtown and enjoy the decorated windows, and vote for your favorite one.

Santa's Elves at Gardner Village
If you enjoyed the witches at Gardner Village, you are sure to love Santa's elves! You can also participate in the scavenger hunt!

Christmas Street in Taylorsville
Check out this fun street, telling the story of The Night Before Christmas. 

The Christmas Chronicles: A Christmas Radio Drama
Go back to times past with a beloved family tradition of gathering your family around the radio to listen to a Christmas story.

Ogden's Christmas Village
I have heard this is miraculous! I can not find an admission price on their site, and many people have told me it is free, but I have not been able to verify for myself if this is true or not.  I decided to post it under this week's free events anyway just in case.

Provo's Winterfest
This also begins this week, and many activities are free. Click the title above for full schedule of events.

Trees of Diversity
Located at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center

Winder Farms Lights
Drive up this country lane and view the decorated houses. For an additional cost, you can get scones at their country store.

Layton City Lights Display
Located at Layton Commons Park, I have already heard amazing things about this light display!

Christmas Utah
A spectacular lights display set to music! Tune your car radio to a specific frequency, and watch the lights turn on and off with the beat of the music! You will also see the trees talk and sing!

Provo's Candy Windows
See window displays made entirely out of candy!

World Nativity Tour
The Hyde Family has extended a special invitation to view their collection of nativity scenes from around the world.
