Hill Air Force Base Museum

The museum consists of two large hangars and a field, all filled with planes, helicopters and other aviation displays. The outside portion of the museum has a paved path you can walk along and the hangars are air conditioned, a nice break from the hot afternoons.
Throughout the hangars you can view smaller planes, many of which have significant histories. The museum is free, but donations are welcome. The museum is staffed by volunteers and the pieces have all been restored and are maintained to preserve these important historical elements.
There are televisions throughout that run short, informative programs on military and aviation history. My son is a WWII buff and loves getting close to the planes, bombs and other equipment.
